Press Release Macau Secures the Rights to host the 10th Annual World Supermodel Production and International Fashion week This year, the 10th annual World Supermodel Production and International Fashion Show will be held with an "Asian theme" in Macau China showcasing the latest fashions, highlighting the leading designers from around the world - the 4 shows will be blended with a mixture of innovation, glamour, and excitement - whilst showcasing the host city Macao In the past Fiji was selected for its tropical theme with its unique postcard beauty and rainforest and crystal clear reef backdrops where international models participated in Glamour Photo Shoots, Underwater filming, Tropical Island location Swimwear photos - whilst they enjoyed the local activities such as kayaking, snorkeling on the reef and visiting the local communities Last year South Africa was selected with its “On Safari” theme due to its many natural wonders and amazing wildlife where our cameras followed the Supermodels throughout their busy schedule having their glamour photo shoots whilst on location with wildlife such as Giraffes, Rhinoceros, Zebras, Ostriches, and wildebeest ran freely around in the background highlighting a genuine on safari theme MR Herc Karakostas, the Director of Locations of World Supermodel Production said…. “On May 21, between 40 to 50 of the world’s top models are heading to Macao to compete for the World Supermodel and World Teen Supermodel titles – this production will also highlight an International fashion week that will be held at the Iconic landmark and Venue – the Macau Tower from Wednesday May 24 to Saturday May 27 - showcasing designers on May 24, Swimwear / Sportswear May 25th and Bridal Wear on May 26” “The highlight will be a spectacular show at Macau Tower on May 27, and to celebrate the 15 years the Macau Tower has been established - the World Supermodel Production will be staging for the first time a never before seen event where the Supermodels will walk on an catwalk around the outside of the Macau skywalk 233 meters above the ground” “Macau is known as the Las Vegas of the east to most western countries and especially to a large percentage of Mainland Chinese – we would like to demonstrate that Macau has other attractions outside the main stream paradigm and show it has the ability to host an international event of this nature” “The exposure for Macau will be fantastic for promoting tourism as the event also receives a lot of coverage via social media and platforms, national campaigns and supported by the local media in each of the countries who run their national competitions to select their representatives to compete at the International level and our US Media Partners Go Indie TV”
